Woman officer throws sand at senior, alleges harassment

Ego clash between two senior officials of the endowments department took a strange turn on Thursday when one of them threw sand at the other in the presence of several officials in the latter’s chamber. Assistant commissioner K Santhi, who committed the throwing act, blamed deputy commissioner P Vardhan of harassing her.
