Sensex plunges over 700 pts; Nifty below 10,950
Domestic equity opened in red on Thursday with the benchmark BSE sensex plunging over 600 points, tracking massive sell-off in global stocks amid heavy foreign fund outflow. The 30-share BSE index fell 638 points or 1.69 per cent to trade at 37,030; while the broader NSE Nifty was trading 189 points or 1.7 per cent lower at 10,943.
