SC: Posts on social media platforms can polarise society
The Supreme Court on Thursday said that social media platforms have power and potentials to influence people across borders.Debates and posts on platforms like Facebook have potential to polarise the society as many members of society do not have the wherewithal to verify veracity of contents, the SC said.
