Within six days a village in Kannur campaigned and raised a whopping Rs 18 crore required for the treatment of a one-and-a-half-year-old kid diagnosed with the extremely rare Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) as contributions from kind hearts came pouring from all over Kerala and across the globe.
