Roadies ex-winner Shweta Mehta on her near-fatal accident
A bikini fitness athlete Shweta Mehta, who emerged as the winner of Roadies season 15 in 2017, met with a serious accident in September 2019 at a trampoline park in Surat, Gujarat where she was invited as a special guest. The Haryana girl suffered seven fractures in neck and serious damage in three bones of her spinal cord. She was on bed rest for six months and lost out on a lot of work. The Trampoline park refused to pay her compensation and the reality show winner had no choice but to use all her savings for her treatment. However, Shweta did not give up and fought back and today she is back on her feet again and has started training. Shweta recently spoke to ETimes TV and opened up about the challenges she faced after her accident in the last two years. She shared how she hated seeing herself in the mirror after the accident with the neck brace on. She revealed that she still gets panic attacks thinking how she had to give up on her fight against the trampoline park owners.
