Mumbai rains live: IMD issues red alert

Heavy rains lashed parts of Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai since early morning on Wednesday, leading to massive waterlogging and vehicular traffic across several locations in the city and its suburbs. Officials said that as per the latest radar observations from Mumbai, the winds in the lower level are westerly and have been strengthened too.
