Map row: Nepal shows Indian areas as its own

Three months after passing an amendment to sanction a new political map that identifies Kalapani in Uttarakhand as its own, Nepal has inscribed the changes in its academic curriculum and currency. A book for higher secondary students includes the disputed Kalapani as Nepal’s territory and the Central Bank has been allowed to mint one and two-rupee coins with the new map.
