A Chinese Army soldier was apprehended near Chumar-Demchok area of Ladakh on Monday morning. The PLA soldier is currently in captivity of Indian Army. According to sources, the soldier might have entered the Indian territory inadvertently. He will be returned to Chinese Army as per established protocol after following due procedure, sources said.
