India reports 38,667 new Covid-19 cases, 478 deaths
India on Saturday reported a single-day rise of 38,667 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of cases to 3,21,56,493, Union health ministry said. The death toll rose to 4,30,732 with 478 fresh fatalities. "Less than 50,000 daily new cases have been reported since 48 consecutive days. This is a result of sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the states/UTs," health ministry said in a statement.
