In basketball, what is called a successful shot made from beyond the three-point line?

Explanation

Three-pointer. In basketball, a three-pointer is scored when a shot is made from beyond the three-point arc. Shots inside the arc count as two points, free throws are one point, and slam dunks or layups describe close-range scoring methods.
